Outlaws Leadership Changes- Karl Loiseau to Miss the 2017 AUDL Season

The Ottawa Outlaws are announcing changes to the Team Leadership stucture for this season.

Karl Loiseau, Team Captain and Founding Member of the team has accepted a term position in France with his employer. The exact length of his work term is still under discussion but the team will move forward under the assumption that Karl will miss the entire 2017 campaign.

Effectively immediately, Derek Alexander and Erik Hunter will join Nick Boucher and Kinley Gee as Team Captains and will provide invaluable experience in directing the team this year.

“You cannot replace Karl Loiseau” commented Jim Lloyd, Managing Partner for the Outlaws. “He is a key component on the field and in the Ultimate community in Ottawa. Although, I was very disappointed to hear that we would not have him this season, we all are very supportive of his career decision and wish him well” Lloyd added.

With the addition of Alexander and Hunter, the Outlaws have created a great balance of experience and youth in their leadership. The Outlaws have been hard at work practising and training regularly knowing that this season the AUDL East will the most competitive division in the league.

The Outlaws begin their season on the road the weekend of April 29th and 30th before returning home for their Home Opener on May 6th vs The Toronto Rush. Tickets are on sale now!
